“Guidance”

Scripture reference;

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”  Isaiah 30:21 KJV

12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:12-13 KJV

I have a precious friend. Her name is Faith. She is old enough to be my mother. We first met in 1999. At that time my son was eleven years old, my daughter was five and I was 32.

She has been my “Titus Woman”*.

It all started at a ladies luncheon in the spring of that year. She and an elderly lady needed a ride home. We dropped the other lady off at her own home in town. and then continued on to Faith’s home which was about a 20 minute drive from there.

It has been my experience that when it comes to the Family of God, that genuine “assembling”…(see John 4:19-26) is usually not contrived, but rather “foreordained”.

When our heart is ready He admonishes us that there is something He requires, and then He provides the means.

Faith was confident of that truth when we met, but  many years passed before I was fully persuaded.

Yesterday we assembled again. She read some quotes of Frances J. Roberts. I had never heard of her. They were just wonderful! Earlier today I couldn’t wait to look her up online. I found the following quote. I hope it blesses you.

“His desire to bless you goes infinitely beyond your own personal desire to secure His blessing. There is always peace in His presence. Do not disturb this by anxiety to know what is in store for tomorrow. Out of the very tranquility of worship will be born the guidance you need.”

Older women similarly are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor addicted to much wine, teaching what is right and good, so that they may encourage the young women to tenderly love their husbands and their children, to be sensible, pure, makers of a home [where God is honored], good-natured, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored. Titus 2:3 AMP

Rejoicing… introduction: “Dance With Me”

Scripture Reference;

“The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.”  Zephaniah 3:17

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” Isaiah 30:21 KJV

“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” Jeremiah 33:3

Run to Him no matter what.

Let Him take you in His arms, as He envelops and fills you with his love!

“Dance With Me” by Orleans

“Dance With Me”

Dance with me, I want to be your partner
Can’t you see the music is just starting
Night is calling, and I am falling
Dance with me

Fantasy could never be so giving
I feel free, I hope that you are willing
Pick the beat up, and kick your feet up
Dance with me

Let it lift you off the ground
Starry eyes, and love is all around us
I can take you where you want to go

Dance with me, I want to be your partner
Can’t you see the music is just starting
Night is calling, and I am falling
Dance with me

[Musical Interlude]

Let it lift you off the ground
Starry eyes, and love is all around us
I can take you where you want to go

Dance with me, I want to be your partner
Can’t you see the music is just starting
Night is calling, and I am falling
Dance with me

Scripture Reference;

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:1-4 KJV

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the…

All His Benefits (Part 9)

“The patriarchs and the prophets of the Old Testament, and Jesus’s disciples in the New Testament—whenever they had a special encounter or vision their first reaction was to be aware of their sin and to be afraid. There were even times when it said they were ‘sore afraid’…”

Psalm 103

 1Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

 2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

 3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

 4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

 5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

 6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

 7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

 8The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

 9He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

All His Benefits (Part 5b: His Ways)

“…He reveals His ways by both the things He says to us and the manner (or mood) in which He says them (He can whisper, shout, speak tenderly, or warn emphatically). He also does this by allowing us to see Him at work…”
