He is Jesus (a song written by Theresa Anne Moore)

Scripture reference;

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  Philippians 2:2-11 KJV

He is Jesus by Theresa Anne Moore

In a world filled with sorrow it seems
A person has no hope in which to cling.
He has no dream.
He isn’t free.

But I know somebody who has all the answers.
He shares with me wonders beyond my wildest dreams.

He is Jesus, The Messiah,
The Fairest of Ten Thousand,
The Lamb, The Mighty King.
He is Jesus. He’s my Savior.
He’s The One whose hand reached out to me
And pulled me to my feet.
He is Jesus.

If you will sit still and listen you will hear
The sound of His voice calling to your heart.
He stands outside….
Right at the door.

If you will receive Him He’ll take you in His arms
And care for you, His new-born child
And keep you from all harm.

He is Jesus, The Messiah,
The Fairest of Ten Thousand,
The Lamb, The Mighty King.
He is Jesus, The Messiah,
The Lily of the Valley,*
The Great I Am is He.
He is Jesus.

He is Jesus, The Messiah,
The Fairest of Ten Thousand,
The Lamb, The Mighty King.
He is Jesus!…..
He’s My Saviour!
He’s The One Whose hand reached out to me,
And pulled me to my feet.
He is Jesus, The Messiah,
The Lily of the Valley,*
The Great I Am is He.
He is Jesus.

*There have been disputes over time about whether the title “Lily of the Valley” refers to “Jesus” or “The Church”. I have read a little about it and both groups of people referred to it as a mystery and that in spite of The Song of Solomon passage and the passage in Luke 12:27 which refer to “The Church” as “The Lily of The Valley”,  there are also passages like Hosea 14:4-7 that refer to Christ as a Lily.
