“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”  Isaiah 30:21 KJV

Like beautiful background music you might hear in your favorite shop or cafe, the Lord is forever speaking words of truth, and comfort. He is the breeze on your face in the heat of day. He is the fragrance that captivates you and compels you to pause long enough to be transported far above your present circumstances to a place of quiet restfulness. He is the warm embrace you feel on a cool spring day when the sun unexpectedly moves out from behind a cloud. He is the voice of wisdom when the voice of reason just isn’t enough.

It is my hope that this blog will be a place where you can spend a moment or two of quiet contemplation and be rested and refreshed when you just don’t have time for an in-depth devotion.

Looking unto Jesus,

P.S. I love flowers. The photo of the rose was taken in my back yard. I will use pictures of my own every chance I get!  :)

What a beautiful idea and place, dear Theresa! Love it! Sometimes I’m daunted by the lengthy studies, much as I love them and need them. You know, those days when we just can’t stretch the time to cover everything? This will bless so many . . .I’m glad that I will be among them! 🙂 love you and all that He puts upon your heart to do!

  2. Thank you, Deb. I am hoping this will help me discipline myself to stay in the word daily.

Theresa, I love this beautiful new blog of yours! I agree with Deb that time is either speeding up, or there are fewer hours in our days! This will be a great help to me. And the gorgeous photos of your flowers! Mmmm, I can smell the perfume! Sending you lots of love from this sometimes silly sister–God bless you abundantly, dear one.

    • And I’m sending bunches of love right back! from one silly sister to another. 🙂 I am so thankful for you and the other bloggers. The Lord has used you all to carry me these past few months.

  6. wonderful to visit with you here and find refreshment …

    • my computer sent the message before I was finished… sorry

It was only about ‘His faithfulness’, and Jesus’ words to me were,” I just want you to know that as I have always been with you, I will always be with you.” His perfect presence… always with me.
The judgement seat of Christ is about Him and who He has always been… we indeed at that time will all bow our knees before Him and with great joy profess that He is Lord. Perfect Love casts out all fear.
